The lessons in this course module cover academic writing.
The aim of the module is to discuss academic writing in terms of the criteria, the characteristics, and the techniques that make a piece of writing academic, and also to help use the skills required for reading and utilizing necessary literature as well as for expressing one’s own thoughts adequately in writing.
This lesson starts with the description of a typical situation in which academic writing skills are necessary for students, coupled with a list of the possible outcomes of completing this module in order to acquire such skills.
